Punching machine
With the aim of reducing manufacturing costs, a manufacturer of punching machines for non-metallic materials commissioned tech-solute to revise a series of manual insert punching machines in the range between 630kN and 1000kN. In a first step, the existing machines were analysed in a project orientation workshop. Together with the customer’s design engineers, the action sheets submitted to tech-solute in advance were discussed, partially supplemented, sharpened and prioritised. In addition, the nomenclature for modified or newly created components and assemblies was defined. The kick-off workshop also served to clarify open questions and the interfaces and responsibilities with suppliers or partners. Following the workshop, the implementation of the constructive changes according to the action sheets revised in the workshop took place smoothly.
