Enjoying tea: a new dimension

As a result of increasing competition from the Far East, a lack of differentiation to competitors and a change in consumer behaviour, this manufacturer of simple tea preparation products (strainers, pots etc.) aimed to open up new markets with an innovative product. Within the course of a design sprint, representatives of the company first defined the target group under the guidance of tech-solute. The “Pains” and “Gains” of the target group were identified using the persona method, before several teams developed novel product ideas and built simple visual models. These were presented to potential representatives of their target group and potential for optimisation was identified.
