Laser perforation system
The customer of this development project, a manufacturer of paper machines, commissioned tech-solute with the design and construction of a system for testing the laser drilling process for the production of paper machine clothing. Laser drilling is a non-chipping machining process in which laser radiation is used to introduce so much energy locally into the workpiece that the material is melted and partially vaporised. The task included the realisation of a three-axis laser positioning system including precise band positioning for the drilling process. The complete laser system was developed and subsequently assembled at tech-solute in close consultation with the customer. After successful function tests, the machine was transported to the customer, set up and put into operation.
