Patent research on an innovative furniture idea
The inventor of a novel furniture idea commissioned tech-solute with the preliminary examination of the marketability and technical feasibility of his idea. An identification of competitors, their products and protective rights was also part of the assignment. For the latter, existing patents, disclosure regulations and utility models in Germany were researched, whose principle goes in a similar direction. The documents were evaluated in terms of their relevance to the product idea and listed in tabular form with important information such as, in particular, the bibliographic data and the abstract and notes of the tech-solute patent searcher. The result for the customer was a positive assessment of the marketability with concrete design recommendations for obtaining patentability of the own solution.
